That is an old one. Carbon-arc lamp, vented through a chimney at the top of the "Core-lite" box. The reels held 20 minutes of movie, Today's new film projectors look nothing like that. They use huge horizontal platters that hold the entire movie. As it unspools on one platter, they spool it back to another, ready to be played again. No rewinding. Ah, nostalgia.
