It's been a while since my last Story, So I wrote this in a couple days. (Ignoring the Month long break)
As the title says, it's the 5th part of The Pendant of Xulph.
It's a fat fur/weight gain story with som fantasy features I guess? Have fun reading it! (It's posted below too)
After Zephyr left Garry's bakery, he decided to walk around some more around the city. Walking around, he noticed that Magna-Grange was really a better place than the 'normal' Grange. After around 20 Minutes someone in a grey cloak ran past him, almost knocking Zephyr over.
"Ugh- hey! Hey! What was that for? I'm talking to you!"
Zephyr decided to run after that person. He could feel his heavy, and still full stomach, wobble up and down. Around the next corner, Zephyr already was out of breath, and lost the strange person too.
"Damn it... I lost him... ugh... I need a break..."
Panting heavily, Zephyr could regain his breath after some minutes.
"Who was that? He was looking weird... and I couldn't see his face, or something else. Just a grey cloak... I should tell Xulph about that."
Still a little exhausted, Zephyr walked back to the Core to report Xulp this weird person. Xulph was in the Dining Hall, as always when he was not busy.
"Ah, welcome back Champion! What can I do for you?"
"Hello Xulph, I uh... was at Garry's bakery, and-"
Xulph interrupted him.
"Oh I can see that, you have a little more... skin on your bones. And Garry is also the person which provides me with that good candy you like. He's a really good fellow, isn't he?"
"Y-yes... he is. And what I was trying to tell you... after I left the Bakery I walked around some more to look around city. And then there was a weird person who ran past me. So I followed him, and around the next corner I already lost him. He was really fast."
Taking a sip from his chalice, Xulph responded.
"That's... odd. What did he look like?"
"Well, all I could see was just his grey, stainless cloak. I didn't see a tail, horns, or wings. If he had, he hid them really good."
"Hmmm... where did he go? Where did you encounter him?"
"Well... I just walked down some roads... I think I went quite south-east. I could see something like a tower."
"A tower? Well, there is only one besides the Core. The Ascent. I should tell you some about it. Please, sit down and eat something."
Suddenly various things to eat appeared on Zephyr's table. He sat down and began to eat. Xulph sighed.
"I hoped that I can keep this secret until you are ready, proved that I have to tell you now... Since I brought you here, I got reports about a group of Xalph disciples in Magna Grange. I think you've encountered one today. Seems like they aren't dangerous, or they are just not prepared yet. .So, this could be your first real Mission. But I will send someone with you, I do not want that you get hurt. You are very important."
Xulph's deep words sank into Zephyr, and he ate some more.
"Well... thank you for explanining this for me. So... the enemy is here then? Do you think I could do something against them?"
"Xalph's disciples aren't that good, they have propably less fighting and magic experience than you. I bet you can finish one or two off."
"Alright then... who's coming with me?"
A familiar feminine voice spoke.
"I will acccompany the Champion."
"Ah, perfect timing Kizara! Great idea of yours!"
Zephyr turned around and saw her.
"Good to see you again Kizara!"
"Same, Champion. Glad to see you. Are we going to attack the Ascent, or do you need any preparation?"
"No, I just ate and I am ready to have some action!"
"Don't take this too easy, young Champion. Anything could happen."
Xulph smiled.
"Alright! Kizara, please protect Zephyr with all you have, his safety is priority number one."
"Understood. Let's go Zephyr."
Kizara and Zephyr left the Core and made their way to the Ascent.
"Well, it looks not that huge..."
"The Ascent is an abandoned building. No wonder they settled down there."
"Why is it abandoned? What was in there?`"
"It was the first building here. Xulph build anything else around it, and now he lives in the Core. No need to use this abandoned Building."
"Okay... uhm... what do we do with the disciples?"
"We should only take them out when it's necessary. I'll go on ahead, you follow me. Stay close, and watch your step."
"Sounds liek a plan. Alrighty."
Kizara nods and opens the door into the Ascenr. Inside, Zephyr notices that the building has indeed been abandoned for a long time. Walls crumbling, leaves scatteres accros the ground, and various other scrap materials.
"It's quiet in here... too quiet. I bet they know already that we're here. Be careful Zephyr. Something is wrong here."
Just as Kizara seid that, Zephyr could indeed feel something weird in the Ascend. It felt evil. Foul. Bad. He silently followed Kizara deeper into the Ascent . Minutes later, they entered a room and Kizara came to a halt and began to whisper.
"Wait, something is very wrong here..."
And right after Kizara said that, Zephyr heard a thud behind him, followed by quick footsteps.
"Zephyr! Watch out!"
He turned around, and before he could react, something heavy hit his head, almost knocking him out instantly. He fell to the ground.
"Damn you! I should have known this!"
Kizara's words was the last that Zephyr could hear, turning his vision to black.
At the Core...
"Where is Zephyr?"
"I'm sorry my Lord... I... we got ambushed. A dark figure knocked him out, and I... I just could'nt defend him. I... fled."
Xulph could'nt believe what Kizara said. Clenching his both hands to fists, slamming them on his throne's armrests.
"You had ONE job Kizara! I told you to protect the Champion at all costs! Now we lost him! Dammit!"
Rasel heard Xulphs voice shouting through the halls and came too.
"No way! We need to find him! He's my best friend! I don't want to loose him!"
"You stay here! I don't want to loose you too. Kizara, I will give you full permissions to rule over Magna-Grande, while I'm absend. I already know who's behind all this..."
Zephyr slowly regained his consciousness, opening his eyes.
"Ugh, my head... Kizara? Where are you?"
"So you're finally awake. Finally I meet my brother's Champion."
Hearing such a deep and yet kind voice surprised Zephyr. He looked around, and noticed that where he now is, is definetly not Magna-Grange. Everything looked metallic and futuristic. He slowly stood up.
"Who are you...?"
"Oh you know who I am. My brother surely told you a lot about me."
"Brother? That means you are Xalph!"
"You're not as dumb as you look."
Zephyr saw him. Standing a few meters in front of him, Xalph stared at the chubby drake.
"You look... different than him!"
"Unlike my brother, I do not hide my true body."
Xalph truely is Xulph's opposite, but a dragon too. Muscular, and completely white-scaled with blue eyes. His stomach scales have a slight blue tint to them.
"What do you want from me?"
"What I want? Isn't it obvious? By taking you from my brother, he has no chances of winning this war. And judging you by your... aura, I can tell you have not learnt anything yet. That means, he will loose someday. It just takes some more years until I will crush him! Additionally, I'll let you stare. You're way too fat."
"You won't keep me here! I will find a way back!"
"Hahaha! Still confident... enjoy your personal little prison cell. Servants, take him to his cell!"
4 dragons came to Zephyr, they were quite muscular too. Xalph's servants simply picked Zephyr up and dragged him to a prison cell quite far away from Xalph.
"Enjoy your stay. You will be here for a looong time."
A guard said, locking Zephyr inside.
"Let me out!"
"Sorry, no. Never."
The guard left, and Zephyr sat down onto a gray, cheap pillow, which had little cotton filling.
"Where am I... and how do I get out? They even stole my pendant!"
Zephyr thought. Suddenly his stomach grumbled.
"And I'm hungry already... ugh... I hope Xulph or Kizara will find me quickly... I hate this prison already."
Some hours later, someone came to his prison door.
"Lunch time."
A guard opened a small opening on the bottom of the door, and slid through a small bow with a spoon.
"What's this?"
"Food that every prisoner gets. Bland broth."
Zephyr looked at the bowl again, and saw a slightly brown-ish soup.
"That's all?"
"That's all."
The guard closed the small opening. Zephyr stirred the broth a little with the spoon and took a sip. Like the guard said, bland. It tasted almost like nothing, but had a slight chicken aftertaste. Eating it all in a few minutes, he felt even hungrier than before.
"I wish I had something that something more edible..."
About 2 months passed. Every day the same cell, the same air, the same broth. It really took a toll on Zephyr, he lost about 45 pounds of fat, starving down to 280 pounds. His clothes hanging down loosely, not even his belly sticking out below his shirt. His pants were a lot less tight too. Every day he sat around, and thought about other things. Until today.
He heard knocks on the door, and the slid at the bottom of the door opened. A small cake was slid through.
"It's me Champion... I finally found you."
"Xulph...? Finally someone to rescue me?"
"Shhh... I know you're starving, and brought you cake. Eat it, and regain your strength. When you're done, I'll get you out of here."
"Thanks... finally..."
Without hesitation Zephyr ate the cake in seconds. His tastebuds were happy that he finally had something delicious to eat.
"Listen up... here's my plan. I'll unlock the door, and you follow me into another room, where you can get some guard clothes. That way we can escape from here. Outside, there is a cave. I set up a portal there that can get us back to Magna-Grange. You got that?"
"Alright... but can I ask you a question?"
Xulph sighed.
"We don't have time right now, we need to get out of here!"
Then Zephyr heard keys rustling around behind the door, which unlocked shortly.
"Finally... I can't wait to see Rasel... and Kizara!"
"They both miss you, even Kizara. And I see that... you didn't got much food here. He really let you starve."
"Your Brother.... he-"
Xulph interrupted him.
"Not now, we need to escape. I'll put you in cuffs, so it looks convincing."
Withput aksing any further questions, Xulph put the handcuffs on Zephyr's hands. He followed him through the prison, into a room. Xulph closed the door behind Zephyr.
"Alright, now find yourself a fitting outfit. I'll undo your cuffs."
Like Xulph said, Zephyr's cuffs opened and he looked around. Everytrhing was still looking futuristic and metallic. Also, many neon colors adored the walls and floors. Opening a random locker, he found a guards outfit inside.
"Uh... could you look away while I change?"
"Sure. But you should hurry up, we don't have much time."
Xulph turned around and Zephyr changed clothes. his pants were a little tight around the waist, and his shirt a little snug, but it looked convincing enough for their escape. He stuffed his old clothes into the locker and closed it.
"Well, looks good enough. Let's get moving."
"Wait! They stole my pendant when I got locked up.... we need to find it!"
"You're right... but it has to be neraby. I can feel it's presence. If we leave it here, Xalph could have it easier to track you down. And your power wouldn't grow as fast. Look around."
Looking around, Zephyr noticed a quite suspicious cylinder in a corner of the room.
"This looks like some sort of storage... how do I open it?"
"Leave that to me."
Xulph walked to Zephyr and put his left claw on top of the cylinder.
"Ah, this is Xalph's strange... technology. He's so obsessed with it. I need some time to understand how it's locked."
About 3 minutes passed.
"You're such an idiot..."
"What?"
"My brother. He thinks that his technology is highly advanced, but I can dismantle it now."
With that, Xulph crushed the top of the cylinder with his left claw, and triggering an loud rythmic alarm.
"Dammit! But it's in there, here!"
Xulph grabbed the pendant and tossed it to Zephyr, who caught it mid-air.
"Now let's get going!"
Zephyr stuffed the pendant into his right pocket. With the alarm set off, they had to hurry up. Both dragons ran outside of the room, to be greeted by other guards running around the hallways, trying to find the source what triggered the alarm.
"Over here, let's go!"
Xulph ran ahead, Zephyr following him closely. After a few minutes they escaped. But the outside was not looking like what Zephyr expected. Everything w as still... metallic. Like everything was some piece of technology. even the grass was something metallic.
"Phew... where are we even? This.... does not look like... something normal!"
Out of breath, Zephyr sat down near a tree made of metal.
"Now that we're here, I can explain. This, Zephyr, is.... the Future."
"The Future...? But that doessn't not look like... something normal!"
"It actually does. The truth is, my brother and I once lived here in this world. Of course it was him who turned this into... what it is now. I tried to stop him, but that didn't work, as you see."
"But... what made you the God of laziness and stuff? And him the opposite?"
It strangely takes a long time to Xulph to reply.
"Maybe one day I'll explain more of this. We need to go."
The alarm from the prison nearby can be still heard. Letting out a long sigh, Zephyr agreed.
"Alright. Where's that cave you mentioned?"
"Over here, I can see it."
Zephyr stood up and both walked towards the cave. As they entered it, Zephyr could see the portal, just like that one that took him to Grange.
"That's it. Step through it, and you'll be back in Magna.Grange.
"Alright... thanks Xulph."
"No need to thank me. We still need you."
As Zephyr stepped in front of the portal, he heard the same overly confident voice from 2 months ago, before his imprisonment.
"Brother! I knew it was your doing!"
Zephyr turned around and saw the very muscular Xalph, standing with his heavily armed followers beside him.
"You know that I fight for my people. And for my Champion. Where is yours?"
Angered by Xulph's intentionally sarcastic question, clenching his hands to fists, Xalph replied.
"You're going nowhere! Attack!"
"Quick Zephyr, run!"
Without any further hesitation, Zephyr jumped through the portal, the last thing he heard was gunfire. Some time later, Zephyr woke up again, in a very comfy bed. A familiar voice waking him.
"Zephyr?"
"Nnngh... Rasel...? Is that you?"
Slowly opening his eyes, he saw his best friend.
"Finally! I was so worried about you! How do you feel?"
"Tired... and- ow!"
As Zephyr tried to get up, he felt a stinging pain in his right shoulder.
"No no, stay in bed! Xulph told me you were shot when you both fled. Kizara took care of your wound, it only has to heal now."
"Where is she?"
"At her Dojo, do you want to see her?"
"Tell her, I forgive her."
Suddenly, Zephyr stomach was growling.
"Should I get you something to eat?"
"Yes please... I'm very hungry..."
"Alrighty, don't move, yes? I'll be back soon!"
Smiling, Zephyr fell asleep again. Later, he was woken up again by the smell of pizza.
"That smell... mmmmh... delicious..."
"It is! Here, I got you Pizza, and Garry also wanted me to give you some of his pastries!"
Rasel brought a trolley to Zephyrs bed, with a stack of pizza boxes on it and various pastries.
"Well, it's all yours!"
"Thanks... you can eat some too, if you like. It is you who brought this!"
"Well, thank you!"
Rasel sat down on Zephyr's bed and took one of the pizzas. He gave one Zephyr too, and took a bite.
"It's been too long since last I ate something amazing like this...!
Eating one slice after another, Zephyr downed the wohle pizza in minutes. And that was not enough, he ate another 3 Pizzas.
"So good... just what I needed!"
Zephyr happily rubbed his stomach.
"Geez, you're still one gluttonous dragon! Want a drink too?"
"Sure!"
Laughing, Rasel took a bottle of coke from the bottom trolley and gave it to Zephyr. He unscrew the lid and began to drink, gulping loudly. After emptying the whole bottle, he patted his stuffed belly, which gurgled silently.
"Impressive what you can stuff into yourself! You surely regain that weight you lost fast!"
Zephyr let out a loud burp.
"Yeah... but how long should I stay in bed?"
"Kizara said about 2-3 weeks should be enough to fully heal that wound"
"Well, that is going to be the best weeks ever!"
And it were the best weeks Zephyr could imagine. Everyday stuffing his maw to the brim, and being fed by Rasel a little. It indeed made Zephyr put on weight again, being at 355 Pounds, higher than ever. Now he was fat. After being bedbound for so long, he left his bed once again, feeling the additional heft on his body weigh him down. Also, his stomach was hanging down again. The next day, Zephyr lelft his bed, dressed up and left his room. There, he was greeted by Kizara.
"Kizara?"
"I... just want to say sorry. It was reckless of me to leave you. I should have fought for you. I got scared..."
"By whom?"
"When I truned around to see who it was, I... couldn't believe my eyes. It was someone I trained many years ago. It was Zanaras."
"Who is that?"
Kizara wasn't looking at Zephyr anymore.
"A young Girl."
"You got scared by a little girl?"
"S-shut up! She managed to knock you out!... anyway... Zanaras was a great pupil. She was so polite, so respectful, so... I can't believe shze betrayed us..."
"Is she dangerous?"
"She sure is! I tought her everything I knew! until one day she just vanished..."
Kizara tried not to cry.
"Are you crying Kizara?"
"No! Just... I cought something in my eye..."
"Well, is there something else I need to know?"
The feline took a deep breath and spoke in her usual strict voice.
"Yes! Your next lesson is in four hours! If you are just a few seconds late, there will be a punishment"
She said and walked towars the elevator.
"That's the Kizara I know... heh."
The elevator doors opened, and a familiar Bear stepped out. It was Rasel.
"Rasel!"
"Zephyr!"
Both ran towards each other and when they met the hugged each other.
"I'm so happy you're alright! And... you're softer!"
Rasel poked Zephyrs gut, which hung below his shirt.
"Ha, after these weeks I sure did put on a little... thanks to you buddy!"
"No need to thank me, you're my best friend after all! I care about you!"
"And I care about you."
Both laughed, and Zephyr's belly gurgled.
"You seem to be hungry."
"Well, actually yes! I've got my next lesson with Kizara in four hours, so... wanna go to Gary's Bakery?"
"Uh, sure! lead the way Zephyr!"
So Rasel and Zephyr walked to Gary's Bakery, the Chery on Top. Inside, they were greeted by wonderful smells and, of course, by Gary.
"Ah, welcome back Zephyr! It's been a while since last you were here!"
"Yeah it was... there was an incident."
"Oh! Well, I guess you're here with...?"
"Rasel, my best friend."
"Rasel? Well, welcome to my little Bakery! What can I do for you both?"
"I'll take... fifteen chocolate Donuts!"
Rasel was thnking for a while.
"For me it's just 3 vanilla cupcakes."
"Alrighty then, take a seat, I'll find you when your baked goods are done!"
Zephyr and Rasel sit don at a nearby table.
"You uh... got any money? I don't."
"Oh don't worry! We don't have to pay Gary!"
"Really? If you told me earlier, I would have ordered more than just 3 cupcakes!"
Zephyr laughed.
"Well, I'm sure you can order more when you have yur three little cupcakes."
"Oh I will!"
"After a few Minutes Gary came with Rasel's vanilla cupcakes."
"Here you go, enjoy them!"
"Wait, can you do like... five more?"
"Sure! No problem!"
Gary walked back into his kitchen, preparing more cupcakes for Rasel.
"Can I have one please?"
"Sure, here!"
Rasel passed one cupcake to Zephyr, who chomped it down in just three bites.
"Yummy! That's how perfection tastes like!"
Zephyr bat happily his belly, which wobbled in reaction. And Rasel didn't even finished one.
"Mmf! Done already?! Geez!"
Zephyr laughed, and Gary came with the ordered fifteen chocolate Donuts for Zephyr.
"Here you go! Fresh out of the oven! Enjoy!"
Zephyr began to devour the Donuts, one by one. Eating this fast, stained his chubby muzzle with chocolate, which he licked clean.
"Just... PERFECT!"
Rasel was stunned how fast Zephyr ate the Donuts.
"I still can't believe how fast you can eat! No wonder why you're so fat!"
They both laughed again. Gary came with Rasel's ordered five cupcakes.
"Five vanilla cupcakes for Rasel! And is there anything else I can do?"
"Well, I'd like to have a cake!"
"A cake? Well, sure! What kind of cake?"
"Hmmm, how about strawberry this time? fourteen centimeters in diameter, and 5 centimeters high?"
"A special order then! No probem for me!"
Gary laughed and went back into his kitchen.
"I'm at my fifth cupcake, and I'm stuffed already... how do you eat this much?"
"I don't know, I just can! Haha!"
"Well, you can have my three remaining ones, fatty."
Zephyr ate Rasel's last three cupcakes, and a few minutes later Gary came with Zephyr's special ordered cake.
"Tadaa, your special cake is here! Dig in Zephyr!"
"Thanks! I'll enjoy it for sure!"
At first Zephyr ate pretty fast, but halfway through he got more stuffed he'd think.
"Phew... this cake is pretty stuffing my belly..."
"Awww, c'mon! You can do it big Dragon! Eat hat cake!"
Rasel's words motivated Zephyr, and he began to eat again. Each bite stuffed him more and more beyond his capacities, but Zephyr made it. Slowly licking his claws clean from the sweet strawberry icing.
"I think, I was never stuffed like that... BWAAAHRP!"
He let out a mighty belch, which drew other customers attention to Zephyr, He blushed a little.
"My my... you indeed are an mighty glutton!"
Rasel opened his eyes wide, impressed by Zephyr's gluttony.
"Well, a big belly needs a big meal!"
He pat his distended gut.
"So, what do you want to do now?"
"I dunno... some sleep would be nice, I'm SO full..."
"Then let's walk back to the Core, I'll go with you!"
Zephyr stood up from his chair, which creaked a lot being released from the fat drake's weight. Walking outside, Zephyr noticed how much he had eaten. His belly distended more than he thought, and it wobbled more than usual. If he slept that off, it would all turn into pure adipose. And of course Zephyr slept, for two hours straight. When he woke up, he felt very well and relaxed. After lazing in the bed for another three minutes he yawned and stood up.
"Wow... it's been a long time since last I had such a good sleep! And... did my clothes always feel so tight...?"
He slowly scanned his fat belly with his chubby claws and felt how fat he'd gotten since he arrived at Magna-Grange. He walked towards the scale in his room and stood on it. The numbers rose until they reached 370 pounds.
