I'd originally intended to make him the analog of Rook, my Rito who I've been writing about, but over time as the game developed, this version of Rook grew to be his own character. I can assure you it will not get confusing in the slightest ounce to have two characters with the same name.

Nope! While playing any campaign, there's a (pretty high) chance that you'll encounter an event that transforms your hero in some way. For example, the event that gives your hero a bird head, or a wolf head.
At the end of every chapter, you get the option to "advance" the transformation, limb by limb. Until you basically go full furry. (Or plant, or rock, ECT)
