This is pretty bloody groovy. I would love to learn to use Fl Studio and make stuff like this, trick is finding the time and inspiration.

Thanks man!You should really seriously think about getting FL, there are so many styles of music you can make with it, plus it's really fun!!! It may be a little intimidating at first, but when you get the basics down, everything else is really easy. and don't worry about trying to make a super epic song the very first time you're working with it, it usually takes time to get used to how FL flows. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2311429/ That was my first song I ever made on FL I didn't even know how to make reverb or understand the basics of synthesizers! But nontheless it was my first! Anyway, If you get FL be sure and tell me!

You what I figured out? You can write parts in Guitar Pro and export them to MIDI then click-and-drag them into FL Studio! Makes things go by so fast!

Only combo songs. No songs from JUST FL Studio yet. Can't find a good bass to work with. Even with bass boosters!

you should try out the 3xOsc for FL, I use it for basses now and then, don't forget about your EQ too, for me that's a big part in how I make my basses. Oh, and also TS404 is good if you're looking for a gritty, acid bass. If you're looking for a straight up guitar bass sound just go to FL Slayer.

Use the Multi-band Compressor effect too?

If you want to, but personally I'm not very good at using the multi-band compressor yet, so I'm probably not the best person to ask. But I have seen what it can do when used correctly, and it's a good tool. I normally use the most basic compressor.
