CSX's ex-Baltimore & Ohio mainline from Chicago crosses their ex-Conrail, ex New York Central/Michigan Central mainline from Detroit here. The consist of power on this train was unique: the SD60 leading a pair of Dash-9s, an ES44DC, and a rare GP59!

I didn't. Usually when I'm in N'ern IN, I'm on the way thru to somewhere else, so what I've seen railroad-wise in that area is spotty. Mostly stuff closer to the IL line, in Hammond, Gary, East Chicago, etc. There are just so many good places, it's hard to know where to look.
