Seems like there’s a lot of new miniatures games popping up, I’m going to be surprised if there is an Oddworld miniatures game released and I don’t know about it

In the comics from the 90s (specifically Aliens: Genocide) there indeed was a red breed of the species, which were at war with the black ones.

I think the red hives only ever appeared in that one line of comics, but my knowledge of Alien comics is kinda limited. I know other stories had new hybrid species that may have been coloured differently, but I don't think there were other red ones.

I dont know if theres an Aliens miniature game, but there is a TTRPG, and yes the Red Queen variant is from the Aliens comic "Aliens: Genocide"
