Wasn't up to serious drawing so here's what is mostly tracing the lines from a moment in the Charles Mintz cartoon A Boy And His Dog. In this 1936 cartoon, the boy learns to not be a jerk to his dog Yippy by having a dream in which the dog grows giant and treats him the way he's treated the dog.
You can see the original scene at about 4:35 in to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Td-BQb3p7o4 and if you like getting (eventually) to scenes of a giant nonanthro animal wreaking minor havoc on a human-size room and a human kid you might enjoy. CW: animal cruelty, threat of spanking, a brief scene where the kid is harnessed and whipped. You know, stodgy theatrical-cartoon violence.
(The dog's name I derived from a photograph by the boy's bed that he punches before going to sleep. That CW meant something. The boy doesn't seem to have a name given on-screen. Jerry Beck, who you'd think would know, called the kid Sparky --- see https://www.cartoonresearch.com/tooned3.html --- but on what evidence I do not know. Maybe appearances in other cartoons?)
