I'm back from the dead, folks, and I've brought with me my latest figurine, this one based on my very own Second Life avatar! Bask in the ottery goodness.
Credit for the base model goes to
@v747 on Twitter , who graciously allowed me to remix one of their older models to suit my character. He stands approximately 19cm tall and I printed him myself with LW-PLA filament from Colorfabb. No sanding required! Hand-painted using acrylics and given three different types of varnish for a variety of finishes (matte for suit/fur, satin for tie/pocket-square, gloss for eyes/nose/shoes).
The third picture shows him standing next to my very first figurine, Amelia, who I designed and had printed over five years ago. You can definitely see the improvement!
