FFXIV theme/backstory:

Phuell is a corgsky (Corgi/Husky) who grew up as an orphan in the streets of Limsa Lominsa. He joined the Rogue guild after an accidental run with some of its members. Because of his natural dexterity and able to gather information, he became an unseen hand in maintaining order for the city. He helped alongside with two fellow Arcanists, Phloww and Phluxx, but more so with the latter (due to Phloww having 2 bodyguards assigned to him). Phuell and Phluxx got to know each other and enjoyed each other's company, until the heavy thunderstorm incident occurred. The corgsky and Phloww were among the passengers that fell overboard. He woke up to find himself in a different land and a jonin stood before him. The jonin saw how nimble and dexterous the corgsky is and took him in to learn the ways of Ninja. Some time later, Phuell returned to Limsa to find that his Arcanist friend has gone to a snowy land up north and decided to search for him. Eventually, he did find him as well as another man (a Machinist) who had “rescued” Phluxx. The corgsky had some quarrels with the other man but respected Phluxx's requests/decisions. In the end, Phuell left, saying to the Machinist, “Take care of him. But if I find he is being mistreated, I will find you.” The corgsky came upon Phloww and his “bodyguards” and was surprised that they recognized him. He ended up joining them on their adventure, meeting up with other Warriors of Light/Darkness.
