After the kidnapping of her mother, and the (frankly unrelated) death of her crush Rei in the hands of wild Pokémon, Calypso of Team Star Guardians evolved with her heart full of vengeance. Armed with her Sheer Cold, she would never again allow somebody else to control her fate. Eventually, she did take out her revenge on the aforementioned kidnapper: Calypso's estranged half sister. But no matter; Calypso's an only child again, and at this point, she'd prefer it that way.
She still draws in her notebook, keeping a catalog of all the new Pokémon she meets. And when she's down, bored, forlorn...she draws Rei.
