A month ago, to this very date,  Mandag dared me on discord (https://maeve.chat/ and https://discord.gg/2kinds) to write a cute, wholesome and SFW story about Kathrin; a character he knows I don't like.

The story isn't done, a phrase no one that watches the glacial pace I write stories at should be surprised to hear. But this time, the reason it isn't done is that it's already ballooned past 7000 words and is barely half finished. Mandag has convinced me to publish it in parts, rather than as a whole.

So here's the first part of five. Part two is next Monday. Let's see how well I keep this up.
