This kangaroo has a way of replenishing energy storage quite similar to any biological creature, aka eating food. This as to allow him to function on his own and avoid being dependent on less plentiful energy sources.

Though they are rather fond of eating, much more so then expected. And alas, as he got hold of a project managers phone and card, for one unsupervised night, they ordered as much of anything edible as they could get hold of. And as such a food coma ensued, much to the project managers surprise, as they had hardly expected such a absurd scenario to be realistic.

If any it showed how much "energy" he can absorb in one go.
