Julycanthropy Day 19: Siblings
Characters: Eric, Boris

After being turned and in the midst of his first transformation, Boris hid in the Pack Nest for the better part of a year, afraid his own family wouldn't accept him.

That couldn't be farther from the truth.

Boris was absolutely terrified at the idea of showing his face to his family again after the first transformation, even moreso when Mica pretty much told him that she was making him find them again. The poor guy was depressed enough to not eat much that entire time because of it, and honestly she had enough.

But he was terrified.

He and his brother were attacked by this MONSTER, he was bitten, and now he was a monster too. But apparently, his brother didn't care. Neither did his parents, who legitimately thought they had lost their youngest son forever.

The reunion was a tearful one, though he didn't show off his transformed state immediately. He was too concerned of what their reactions would be. But he knew he had to eventually, and when he did... Well, it went the entire opposite of what he thought. Instead of running or fear, he was met with tearful hugs and somewhat hesitant acceptance. Hell, Eric thought having a werewolf for a little brother was AWESOME. Sure he was a little nervous because of the attack, but in seeing his brother and eventually meeting the giant silver monstrosity that was Mica helped the mindset that not only was this all real, but not all the wolves were monsters like one that attacked them.

So Boris' family got the peace of mind that the youngest was safe after a year, and while it was kinda hard, Boris decided to stay with the Pack Nest. He still visits occasionally, and his brother has at least been to the castle at least once, and the family lives with the knowledge that the creatures you read about in fairytales are, in fact, real.
