Lostcat found a book I have been searching for since the second grade, a book I read when the class was supposed to be group reading. I could only remember that it involved two children, a greek-themed-labyrinth a satyr tf triggered by dancing.
He found it, and I was able to finally able to get a copy - the book was: "The Maze" by Peni R. Griffin.
Shortly after he told me, someone mentioned it too - and so 20+ years of madness and wondering ended
