You know thats is so true. They do tend to draw more fire then the even a land raider does.

This one land speeder went toe to toe with a a full squad of tau warriors. Whiped most the unit and watch the run. Took shots from the other squad only to come out unscathed. Then did the same to that squad. Its weakness though are dark eldar. It does not last long with them on the board.

I've killed 6 landspeeders with 2 squads, Landpeeders are silly =3.

Untill you drop sixteen of them on the board with the master of the Raven Wing It seems my tau has an easier time taking down monoliths than those stupid ten all around speeders :/

I dunna, I just took on the new dark angels last saturday in a raven wing chapter and they dropped, etc at me sure I lost a few things including 2 crisis suits which I wasn't expecting but the next turn I dropped all but 2 because they jinked but they were stunned anyways and by then all the bikes were dread from my hammerhead and broadsides lol.

Well, if they jinked, they were the new version. I played along side a 2000 point all speeder Raven wing before and they tore shit up. True that alot of them died but with the master running about sucking up fire most of the regular ones escaped harm to run rampant against the fire warriors and necron warriors that were on the back end of the enemies deployment zone. Having to face that many assault cannons made the opponents freaking cry. They couldn't quite kill enough of them to keep the Raven Wing player from picking out choice units to rape.

Tau pirhanna's are about the same. Alltho Ive had Stealth Squads go toe to toe with assualt marines and not only live for two turns, but wipe out an entire squad.

My Khorne Berzerkers kept failing to kill a dang pirhana in short game. Oh well those things were made FORD tough. Honestly I would not have used berzerkers in that game but only legal troop choice I had on me. After playing an apocalypse game. Maelstrom of gore is fun!!! hell 3 8 man squads of berzkers & Kharne killed nearly an entire flank of SM all on their own

well thats the thing, there is a tactic with the Phiranna's that render 'zerkers allmost useless in the last codex (before the new recent update) but hey, can only be hit on a 6 + is allways sexy. enjoy the rest of my stuff up on my gallery

heheh, dont feel bad, I had my Kroot speedbump squad get rolled over by no less than three chaos lords, but hey, they killed two of them. =)
