Mena is Vekke's older sister, and the governor of the city she lives in. she's a large fat and motherly land gryphon who works hard to make sure the needs of workers and the demands of the wealthy class are met. politics between the two are a source of stress for her, so she copes with food and spoiling her little kobold pet, Mochi. she is genuinely a good and kind politician.
Mena measures 12 feet tall from head to claw, ears and feathers not included. she is not powerful herself, having only basic defensive training under her belt, so she relies on bodyguards to keep her safe. her weapon of choice are golden colored claws.
At nights she goes to her brother's night club to unwind and spend some time with him. she loves him and he loves her. the connection to the Shalgeki Mercenary agency does not hurt at all either, though she keeps her business with them a secret, as the wealthy and corporate are not too fond of the mercenaries.
