1. In chinese, is it normal for the plant's name to reflect how to it should be cultivated?
2. There are 4 "members" separated by arrows. What language is the 2nd? Korean too?
3. What is folk etymology
4. Why making parallels between Chinese and Korean? What is the connection?

1. 水菊, translated literally, means "water chrysanthemum". Because of this, Koreans often assume hydrangeas prefers waterlogged soil, which is not true.
2. 2nd is Korean transliteration of 繡毬, pronunciation of which corrupted and became modern Korean word for hydrangea.
