The intro almost made me think of the intro for "Life - Distant Promise" from the final boss's good ending of Chrono Cross.
Then I was surprised that it's not that, but just as good. almost has that same emotional feel to it. but more hopeful rather than remorseful for (spoilers) Schalla's life and how she ended up.
