Ugh, hands... why couldn't everybody just have hooves? That would make drawing so much easier :)

I keep forgetting to try to break them down into constituent parts, but you're right, it's a good habit to get into. Nice idea with merging the middle two fingers a bit, too! It takes a bit of a mental leap of faith to delete a line in between two squeezed objects, but you're right there too - it actually works! (Guess you're right a lot, huh? ^^;)

agreed! i hate drawing hands so much. i actually have quite a lot of trouble drawing them, but it just comes down to practice.

ah yeah, it's just a habit i got into with animating.. weird i know, but it helps us to move hands about and keep the proportions nice. Thanks - that was a tutor's suggestion, also for making animating easier. Ah.. yeah.. that was an accident.. i used to draw three fingered characters (i'm weird, ok?) a lot. ^^
