Glad you enjoyed it. Vargr didn't originally intend to write this piece, but wuff just couldn't get around the feeling that he'd left things unfinished in the "Vinyl Gryphon". And it turned out giving another opportunity to add a bit to the character development for Terry and Brad, as well as to subtly highlight Drakon�s mysterious, magical nature.

*Wuff grins* It�s also let me provide a couple hints for things to come in the next �installment�. Vargr wouldn�t be giving anything away to say the subject of Terry�s lack of exercise will come up again.

Vargr's focused on the "big bad wolf" story at the moment. But there'll be more of Drakon and friends to come, soon.

I wish I could say you're right, but this wuff isn't always so prompt in getting out new stories, or the next "chapters" in sequels. *Vargr blushes* Unfortunately, wuff's "muse" frequently seems to go on long vacations without taking Vargr along. I've got a few story ideas and partially written pieces that have been sitting fallow for over a year.

Still, this silly wuff means well, and he WILL get around to finishing those and sending them out one day! :)

Interesting little character development you put in; I never thought of Brad as evil, more like ignorant.

*nods* Ignorant and self-absorbed.

But I got comments from readers, way back when I first published the Vinyl Gryphon story, who were 'most upset' at what Brad had done. And others who though Drakon's actions were too vindictive.

So I wanted to 'set the record straight' in this story. Show that Brad wasn't really that cruel, and show that Drakon had good intentions over what he'd done (in addition to the other reasons I put in the story description above).

It felt good writing this one. And I'm looking forward to spending more time with the characters.

You're absolutely right! Wuffy's finished another little interlude, but there's a larger segment that needs to come in between that one and this, and that story isn't very far along yet.

If that's the case then I can't wait. In the brief time I've known these guys I've really begun to like them. I'd love to see more out of this new storyline. I'm sure it'll hit home with me seeing as I find myself trapped behind a desk quite often as well. Speaking of which, I'd better get out from in front of this computer screen before Brad catches me. Wuffy toys with the idea again, from time to time. Vrghr really needs to settle down and start writing again. But "life" and work and such always seems to intrude and distract the wuff.

There are definitely still ideas floating about this wuff's fuzzy noggin concerning these two! They were definitely fun to write, and a really strong set of personalities to play with!
