Why yes, meet Juno, Buddy's ex. She's the reason Buddy is such a car freak, and why she dates Kit now. Neither of them likes to talk about it. Let's say their relationship turned more toxic than Chernobyl and a breakup was the only way to prevent a full meltdown.
Didn't help that Juno grew jealous of her ex's popularity and decided to make her own brand. Now both Kit and Buddy have to deal with overzealous ex-girlfriends who don't know when to quit.

At least it makes for cool stories and competition among the street racing scene.
