A digi from a dream I had earlier this week that's been stuck in my head. Some light context on the dream without going into the more horror aspects since yeah haha my dreams are a wee fucked, basically after a huge nightmare without waking up had a light hearted moment of raising/cuddling a patamon in some VR set that became corporeal. With their permission they allowed me to experiment on them with some elixir I had which allowed them to digivolve without all the care giving a typical V-pet would need however as an Angemon they were just as cuddly and clingy if not more so, and kinda just spent the dream holding my hand and staying close to me. And since I woke up it kind of sparked the idea for "Rosey."
Actual OC stuff/backstory:
Rosey was a patamon that was taken by a barbamon who wanted to try to see how far a digimon could change by being corrupted, however regardless what he did to Rosey nothing extraordinary ever happened, his mind remained untampered. With time the barbamon snapped as his patience dwindled with Rosey evolving with little to no real changes for an angemon, most being small horn-like growths, and ended up ripping the center row of Rosey's wings almost fully out of the socket. To cease his screaming the barbamon cursed the angemon with a thorny collar that would coil and stab into their throat, only capable of speaking softly and whispering.
A strong sense of determination filled Rosey at his lowest point as he broke free when the demon went out. Even when things seem grim Rosey tends to keep his head up. Tending to prefer to explore and experience the small fleets of joy, Rosey will only fight in order to defend himself or for survivalist needs(however because of the barbamon's prodding might turn into a bloody frenzy where Rosey can't hold himself back). He tends to express himself more through gestures and physical displays of affection even to strangers. One day Rosey wishes to break the collar as he dreams of being able to sing and speak more freely.
Rosey gained his name by Kieran, because of trailing after him and Vile for some time and always having a soft smile on his face. First thing that came to Kieran's mind was the angemon's rosy red cheeks and warm demeanor even in some of the worst terrains.
(I might flesh this out more in the future and junk or fix the formatting sometime. I kinda want to try making a comic for him at some point and other OCs with deeper stories like Ned and Nafrada.)

Honestly, he's cute. The backstory is interesting! Though, I don't know what a barbamon is (kinda like 99.9% of digimon). those are nice expressions and poses. Your art has been improving quite a lot. It's a lot of fun to see your art in general.
I especially love the design! The colour scheme is nicely balanced with the red accents and bases of light yellow, pink, and a secondary of blue that keeps things together especially well. The tiny wings on his small form are quite cute! Though it looks to be injured snd worrying. If the stubby wings were to be touched, would he feel pain? Or is that scar tissue? Wanna make sure if I were to pet him in a theoretical situation that I wouldn't accidentally hurt Rosey. Oh! Also, can he digivolve again, if so, what would that look like?
one last question (for now), that pink part, is that his skin ( ̶i̶s̶ ̶h̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶d̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶m̶a̶d̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶h̶i̶m̶) or is he wearing something? I ask as it looks like it has a pants section and was wondering if that is a suit is for insolation purposes (and thus removing it he'd be cold). Sorry if the last question is awkward my brain creates strange questions.

I'm planning on making a barbamon OC, they're basically like a more demonic humanoid that looks like an older man with a long beard. Thank you, I really appreciate it!! It would depend on how the wings are touched but they are quite sensitive to touch, as long as it isn't too rough it wouldn't hurt Rosey but would probably make him uncomfortable. Petting them would be fine. For his evolutions would probably keep the pink and rose theme but I'm thinking of trying to mix up some pre existing digimon or make up a new one for his evos(he wouldn't exactly become a MagnaAngemon like Vile or a Silphymon like Cathair).
The pink part is like a mix of both(I'd think like a 2nd layer of skin that could be removed since it forms from the evolution). Not sure how well it would keep him warm since it would be a thin but not quite skin tight layer, if anything the other layers he purposely wears for fashion would be a bit better at keeping him warm. And nah it ain't weird or strange, half the time at least about the digimon OCs it's just head canon stuff since the more specifics usually aren't canon. Plus makes me think more in depth on these fellas for outside of art and some rps when that stuff isn't really addressed. ^^
