The true power of the Big CAT series, it's highly destructive Breaker mode. Originally intended to quickly demolish buildings, this ability proved it's downfall when 3 of the series were hacked and ran amok in a heavily populated city, resulting in 2 of the 3 being destroyed with the final one escaping. The long lost unit revealed itself when it's friend, the Alice unit, was ambushed by several dozen Longinus units and one heavily customized Hunter unit. After Alice was disabled when she realized that Longinus units were actually human cyborgs, causing her to panic when she couldn't kill humans willingly, he came to her rescue.
Calling himself Great Tigon, he jettisoned most of his external armor as he impaled a pair of Lancer units with his large wrist mounted chainblades and crushed a third to a pulp under his tank tread feet. Releasing lots of long heating coils to help dissipate his Breaker mode's excessive discharge of energy, what appeared to be long glowing hair waved about his exposed head as he armed a large plasma drill and a ball and chain module over his arms. Tigon smashed into the enemy formations, cutting down cyborg after cyborg, bathing himself in their fluids as he tried to buy Alice some time to recover. He was able to successfully destroy 80% of the units before his weakness took over.
An Achilles heel to the C.A.T. series is that when activating their Breaker mode, their 60 hour battery life is reduced to a maximum of 5 minutes, shorter if actions are taken in excess. The Hunter unit realized this and kept himself and many of his powerful Paladin and Valkyrie units back while the fodder troops engaged Tigon. Caught off guard and with no energy to defend himself, Tigon was heavily damaged when the remaining units attacked. Beaten, broken, and on the brink of death, he was saved by Alice, no longed stunned or hesitant to take a human life. As he was shutting down for the last time, his last sight was seeing an enraged Alice take the fight to the humans. His final thoughts was hoping that she'd be okay.
