The Taveska are a species of serpent folk who reside on Savingar. Sitting at roughly 20 feet long and have a total of 4 arms, the Taveska are often dark green with lighter colored belly scales to help camouflage them in the swamplands they call home, however one subspecies of the Taveska follow a color of pattern of Black Yellow Red Yellow Black however on their heads they break this color pattern with a Black Yellow Black sequence. While they are able to use magic, travelers who have survived traveling through their swamps noted the only spells they have seemed interested in is using very weak flame spells to create a sort of Will-O-The-Wisp to lure travelers close to their layers, followed up with a paralysis spell to freeze their victims in their place to take back to their lairs to consume them or depending on the subspecies, a female laying their eggs inside them which can number anywhere from 10-20 eggs . When their victim is being paralyzed, onlookers have noticed that the eyes of the Taveska flash a bright color to stun their victim before paralyzing them, and when they are being paralized the skin and/or armor turn a stone grey color which has led many to believe that the Taveska turn their victims into literal stone and transforming them back when ready to feast, however tests done with civilized Taveska have proven this false as the victim still feels like flesh and cloth and/or armor.

While the Taveska do not hold allegiance to any faction as they see everyone as an enemy or as food and thusly guard their territory, members have been born outside their swamp kingdom in places such as the Ceran Empire, which has let the Empire learn better how the Taveska operate, and learn somewhat better methods of traveling through their homeland and how to avoid them whenever possible, however it is not a guarantee as Taveska will often go to lengths to capture a victim.
