MONSTER MONDAYS ARE BACK, with The UFO Robot Grendizer Monsters leading the charge. Batch will run from ep.51 to 60. After that will be the remainder of the Kotetsu Jeeg Giant Monsters.

Gare Gare (or the Evil Space Burger - seriously, it looks like a Hamburger) was the monster of the week in ep.51 of the UFO Robot Grendizer and was the 54th Monster in the overall series; it was a Mecha piloted by Commander Garilla. The Beast was a humanoid type Monster, which posses super strength, fired laser beams from its mouth and spike missiles from its forearms.

It was Brown in color, with Gray and Dark color limbs, a red purple face and red eyes, with a black helmet with blue sphere (though these were shown to be hue yellow, likely animation mistake). It adorn with a yellow horn in the fore head and pink plates in the mid section between the saucer plates. The Saucer Mode was a standard disk, with with a spike in front; the upper part was cover in smaller domes, while the bottom part had 4 ports, one of which the head came out from, the other three fired chained harpoon missiles.

Garilla and Gare Gare were deploy to divert Team Grendizer's attention as a large Asteroid, One and half the size of the Moon and contaminated with Vegatron Mineral Waste Radiation, was on a collision course with Earth; the latest ploy, this time from King Vega himself, to wipe out the human race, while getting rid of the biggest piece of all, as the Vegatron Waste mineral deposit over Vega had become unstable in the atmosphere, many of which exploded. As it approach to Earth, it began to insert its influence over the planet causing violent storms; The Space Center realizing the magnitude of the incoming disaster, decided to blow it up, but know Vega would certainly attempt to stop the launch of any missile to the incoming object and Grendizer is sent out and its detected by the enemy. General Gandal leaves with the Mother Fortress along with Garilla and Gare Gare.

Side Note: during the whole episode, they referred to the incoming Debris as a Star, as of course Japanese dialect doesn't have individual words for the various celestial bodies, such as Planet, Comets Suns and Stars. You would think knowing this little fact, those doing the translation would try their best to point that out.

As soon it is deploy, the Beast intercepts Grendizer and takes their fight to Earth to buy time for the Vegatron Asteroid to reach the point of no return; the rest of Team Grendizer are deploy to provide assistance, marking the first time all three Spazers see action at once to assist the Main Mecha; Maria however took rushed action at times, getting caught by Gare Gare with it harpoon missiles which discharge an electrical attack. With time running out, Grendizer uses a power cable to grapple it on the Beast's leg, making it lose it balance, while Koji freed Maria with Double Cutter.

Making one last charge at Grendizer, Duke, along with Koji and Hikaru tag team against the enemy as it jump: Koji shooting Cyclone Beam, while Maria fired Marine Cutter, cutting its left arm off, Grendizer then impales Gare Gare with the Double Harken on the head; the Beast and Pilot are killed when exploding on impact with the Ground. With time now short, Grendizer takes off on the Spazer at full speed, to carry the missile launching it onto the incoming object and destroying it. Grendizer caught in the blast, crashed into the sea, though Maria rescues him and the team flies back to base, with King Vega berating Gandal and Zuril for the failure once more.
