I came up with a scenario in which toons are like the crystal gems in which if taking a hit that's a tad too heavy, they end up losing all physicality and end up going "POOF!" Becoming a picture of themselves.

This happens to me after a random flying spear comes out of nowhere and shunks its way into me.
