Sorry for the lack of recent posts (not that it compares to my prior hiatuses, of course). I've been busy teaching myself 3D software (or, more accurately, learning via YouTube tutorials). I finally realized just how powerful (and free) Blender is, and I'm disappointed that it sat unused on my desktop for so long up until now. That said, better late than never!

So, this is Nova. She's a newly introduced character from my comic, Professor Amazing and The Incredible Golden Fox. She's actually been around since page one, but... well, it's a long story. Also, she technically hasn't been introduced yet to everyone, but that'll come very soon. I wanted to post this now, though, because I have some plans for her animation-wise in the future, and I wanted to see how people feel about everything in this very early stage of development.

There are still some issues I need to resolve with regards to the walk cycle, but hopefully it's not too bad for a first attempt. Also, the fur was a major rush job. Lots of tweaking and combing and other refinements yet to come on it. I have an extended video that will be posted soon for my Patrons. It's all still very much a work in progress, as well, but I'm anxious to show what I've learned thus far.
