Oh thank god, I thought I was gonna be the only I knew to get uberly excited about this movie. The books were a fantastic simple read, but omg, the whole plot and just overall story was what captivated me. When I saw the trailer for this I totally had a nerdgasm and happy squeed. x3
OMG YES. I READ ALL THESE BOOKS IN EIGHTH GRADE,
AND THEN MY SISTER READ THEM ALL IN SEVENTH AND EIGHTH.
WE ARE FREAKING OUT!
I am soooooo happy this movie is being made <3 i hope it'll meet my expectations because God knows eragon was terrible D: From what i see, it's staying true to the characters, although i'm none too fond of how gylfie or digger look. twilight was amazing and soren is adorable <3 but gylfie just is a ruby color, and it's nothing like an elf owl and digger looks crazy x3'
still, i hope this movie will turn out well and am hoping and praying for the best <3333

Not ONLY does it look amazing, but it's being made by the same people that did Happy Feet (Same animation studio), it's directed by Zack Snyder (Of Watchmen, 300, and Dawn of the Dead fame), and it's based off of an amazing book series.
Oh, and it looks amazing. Seriously. The trailers make the movie look bite-the-back-of-your-hand beautiful.

love the books are so much to be fair if the movie did some good it was in making me aware of the series, movies by their very nature cant properly represent their source material in a mere 2-3 hour sitting so im over them being nothing but pretty footnotes and in a way glad that they dont spoil the books.
