4Kids is a terrible producer company. They make some of the worst translation errors and censor so many things out of the original scripts.

Japanese geeks call these ways 'Gensaku(Original)-Rape'
Saban and 4kids are typical examples!

Japanese culture isn't populer then.

From what I understand, most American audiences are incapable of relating to or understanding anything that isn't American. That's why they make the main characters sound American. If they do decide to put other ethnic characters into their show, they're usually minor characters who are raging stereotypes. I heard that the Pokemon Black and White games will have a black character, for once. I doubt she will be stereotyped in the English translation of the game, but I'm not so sure how the eventual anime translation will treat her.

Also, sorry I haven't said anything in a while. Writing music for my college portfolio and having to find a way to get my Macbook repaired has left me a busy man.
