Volkn Stormvermin are their own different breed compared to the rest of the Under-Empire's fighting elite. Like all members of Volkn, their fur is colored a fiery red as is the clan's tradition, already giving to visual differences compared to the usual black fur that Stormvermin are known for. What's more, is that their weapons are made and crafted out of powerful and carved obsidian, mined directly from the volcanic lairs that they call their warm, flaming homes. Gyx is like many others of his clan- the red fur, obsidian weaponry, proud colors of his heritage and clan. The whole nine yards. However, Gyx was picked personally by Lord Volcanus, the Volkn seer, to be the very first of his guardian council, which is an honor that not every Stormvermin gets to have, and many jealous eyes were upon Gyx when he was publicly selected by the seer. Since his station as the chief guard of the seer, Gyx commands respect and fear with an iron fist and a short, deadly temper. None dare step out of line, and Gyx commands utter obedience from the other various Stormvermin and clanrats picked by the Volkn seer to act as his agents and guards. However, despite his juggernaut behavior and strength, Gyx is scared of only one other rat- Loxgra. The seer's own daughter. Not even Gyx dares to upset or anger Loxgra, and it's rather comedic with how scared and nervous he gets whenever Loxgra is in his presence- or rather, whenever he is in HER presence.

I know, not the most 'extravagant' or detailed of backstories, but still a character I needed to post all the same. Plus, Clan Volkn is pretty badass and has become a Skaven clan that I've grown to very much admire and LOVE. I love the red fur and obsidian weapons. I just clicks for me.
