come to think of it, the hani weren't exactly described as well, except as "being decidedly feline". I loved Whelan's cover art; the german issues had some interior art that looked entirely different, and showed that the other artist had vastly differing ideas.

Just got into this book series and have been binging the audiobooks. Art for the Chanur series is so rare. Outside of furaffinity, there's pretty much no fan art I can find googling it. Found you through your ringel art not too long ago so it's a welcome surprise to see you've drawn a few pics in this universe too :3

I love sf, more so sf with anthros. It's basically the only genre besides youth literature where you can find consistent and quality books with them... Not even fantasy has so many.
I love hayven celestia universe because is consistent, rick and gre7g are very good at writing. I really plan to read more

Both Rick and Gre7g released new books in the last few months too <3 (also they're working on a second HC anthology). I just can't get enough of the HC universe, lol!
Gre7g was actually the one who told me about the Chanur series. He and a few others were talking about it in the Hayven Celestia discord so I gave book 1 a try and got hooked
