An enlarged icon of my fursona, Tigris, my feline-dragon self.
I've heard that people think I'm male since I only ever use my male characters as icons. It isn't that I don't like my own fursona, its just that she's so awkward to fit into a 100x100 box (it's the long ears). Anyway, on the first step to changing my image, I've painted this. It's not the best, but it'll do for now.

I've never seen the series actually, but I've seen pictures of Venus, she's green with a blue braided face mask, and from what I could tell, her weapon is unknown. Honestly, the only thing I took from Venus was the "breast" part of her turtle shell, so that my turtle would look more female. The rest was all research from various places.
To be more authentic, I followed the original turtles from films 1, 2, and 3 because i love their faces so much. I looked mostly at Mikey because his eyes were so big and toon-like and I liked his face shape. Then, I used photos of sea turtles as a reference for her skin pigment and shell, since it was the closest I could get to my fursonas fur color. My fursonas eyes are seafoam green, so that became the turtles' mask color, and since my fursona usually wears a flower on her ear, I attached two lotus blossoms in the knot of her mask. For the turtles weapon, I researched traditional ninja farm tools and settled on the Kama (small wooden scythes).
