This is likely my most personal piece on here and I’m really proud of it. For context, I found out I was red, green, and brown colorblind when I was around 12. It’s mild, and the only real obstacles were stoplights, clothing choices, and, of course, art. Thankfully, I was given colorblind glasses some time ago to help me differentiate colors and I wear them often.
But before I had them, I had no idea I was even colorblind. Only when my art teacher told my mom that “I should already know my colors by now” did I get tested (she was not happy about her attitude btw). I was teased a lot for it for some time, but overtime I didn’t mind anymore, people even started to show genuine interest on the topic of colorblindness. It may not be ideal, but I think it makes me a better artist ^^
The left side of the fox-canine-thing is with the help of my glasses, while the right is the closest I can get to showing how I see colors without them (I needed some external help for this, but it was still really nice to make).

Yeah
I can see that red and orange got like...a single orange-slightly brownish color; and both yellow and green are a weird mild saturated yellow
It's something that I've been always kinda curious but worried about some people because, I don't know how bad is it for them or even if it is a downside for them because colorblind individuals can't identify certain things correctly and because of it, tend to have mistakes when coloring wanting to use specific colors
But I can also see that it's a creative way to show how you see the world in difference to the rest of the people around
It's a really nice detail and something to think about and feel good about it

Stinky: Awww. ^_^ *Snuggles* 🤗🤗🤗 So glad you could strive to be an artists that turns colorblindness into an artistic tool! ^_^ It's really inspiring. ^_^
Stella: You know, we wouldn't have even known about this if you hadn't said anything. XD Pretty sure we'd have still though you're a great artist. ^_^ But now, it makes your art a little more personal. ^_^
