But a couple quick questions. First, if the items are being shipped (and presumably sold) from Colorado, why was the transaction in Euros instead of US dollars? And second, why is shipping for a few prints over $16 (€13.80)?

Sure! On Etsy, sellers set up their prices in their local currency, and buyers will pay in their local currency whatever the equivalent is. Because you are not in the US, your transaction is not in US dollars. As for the shipping price, it's set to estimate the actual USPS shipping costs rather than me personally estimated the cost of shipping (in other words it's more accurate), so that what you are charged is the exact shipping cost for your item from the US to your location. I wish international shipping were cheaper, but I don't have control over that sadly!

I'm in Michigan. Unless the mail takes a detour through Canada, it should be entirely domestic to get here.

Hmm, sounds like something to bring up to Etsy, that's outside of my control! If you've already purchased prints, I can refund you until you figure this issue out? I wouldn't want you to overpay for shipping.

Ok, I set up an account with the same email address and set it for a US location, and it's showing everything in US$, but after adding the same 3 prints to the cart it's still showing the shipping to my zip code at $15.60. Is that correct, or is Etsy still acting up?

Hmm, that's definitely not right. Shipping should be closer to $5. I'm going to email Etsy about this, and in the meantime let's set up a custom listing for you to circumvent this idiocy. I'll link it in a moment, I'm so sorry!

No trouble as you've been very helpful, but I need to be a pain in the butt yet again. (I would email but I don't have your address at hand.) The custom listing you made including shipping is $50.50, but if I add those 3 prints individually, they're given the sale price of $10.50 each for a total of $31.50 plus shipping. With the crazy shipping Etsy tacks on that's $47.10 total.

Hey Wolfy! The prints arrived yesterday, and I'm just blown away at how good they look! Over the years going to furry cons I've bought many dozens of prints, but I don't think I've ever seen prints with colors as vibrant as these. As soon as I get my own house again, these are going into frames up on my living room wall. Thanks again!
