I've recently started a podcast, titled World of Dragons, that focuses on reviewing and discussing books, movies, games, and so on that have dragon and other non-human main characters and POVs.

I myself am a huge dragon and monster fan. I've scoured looking for books and other media that prominently feature them as main characters, rather than as tools, enemies, or minor additions. I've scoured lists, bookshelves, even walked through stores judging books by their covers! Having a difficult time of it, i've decided to create a resource to help others like me.

The goal is to help share what i have found. I run the show with two friends, and in the first half of the show we give a spoiler free review of that weeks topic, to hopefully help you decide if its something you are interested in, and would like to read/watch/play it for yourself! We then have a small intermission, to give you enough time to pause the episode if you decide, before we come back and get into a more in depth, spoiler filled discussion about the characters, plot, and our favorite moments. The idea being to sound like a book club that you were sitting in on, wanting to gush about your favorite material.

We've just started, only with two episodes as of this writing, and plan on uploading every other week. We'll alternate between an episode about a book or series (one book a month would take forever, but some series are long, so we may do them in chunks), giving us a month to read the material, and an episode featuring something more laid back, like a tv show, a game, or collection of movies. We're watching through all the Dragonhearts right now for example.
