I hope that stove has a lot of sensors to detect pans and whatnot, otherwise when you take the pan off it starts cooking the people. On the high setting, it also gets a bit close to the visible range, too.

Motive force for various devices (fans, vacuums, etc) would undoubtedly be provided by the same principle that a radiometer uses.

Since yesterday, the antmir is still on my mind. I'm a big fan of +700 but this is something else.
The idea of using light as a source of energy and communication completely blew my mind.
It's brilliant.
But above all, it's the level of detail. +700 is always like this, taking the time to explain in a pragmatic way, almost hard-science, the functioning of objects presented, it is incredibly immersive.
But this techo, oula. I take note, and if I ever do something advanced in SF, there will be rights to pay.
