to draw. you really DON'T need all this fancy smancy crap.. all this complicated crap that those art tutorials tell you ya need... all you need is paper ( in the folder ), Something to hold that paper (clipboard), a pencil ( .7mm mechanical w/ matching lead), an eraser (clicky eraser for me), some inking pens for when you ink (micron, various sizes), a ruler, french curves, and/or a tablet ( wacom bamboo )

you don't need all this fancy special pencils.. or anything like that... I get along with this stuff just fine. :3 Hell if you look at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2768496/ All i used was my handy little pencil there... o.O;;.. maybe some paper to smear the lead to get it to look right.. lol
