Not many dragons are lucky enough to be born with a retractable weapon attached to their tails - but then, not many dragons are unlucky enough to need one. Blade or no blade, the tail is a powerful weapon that really packs a punch. Add in a blade, made of the same material as horn but with a razor-edge, and a warrior has a reliable weapon with a great reach, good for slicing down hordes or smashing through armour. Don't get behind or beside an angry dragon with a tail blade. Stay in front...where you can be bitten, or clawed, or flamed. Hrm.
