Honestly I lived with a 80/20 wolf mix in Montana for a few years and he was the sweetest dog I've ever known. The father of Kamata is a full blooded wolf and he seems to be more timid than most dogs.
It's honestly all in how you raise them, as it is with many species, and even with that being said they're probably far more timid by default than many other breeds.

Haven't had it happen with any of the hybrids I know, nor have I heard it happened to any of my friends who have them.
I think a lot of the issue is that a while back people used to assume that they needed to be treated as feral ferocious beasts. I know my uncle used to raise wolf hybrids and he beat them brutally throughout their adolescence because he felt if he didn't they wouldn't respect him. Because of that, however, they grew up to be unpredictable and violent, which in his mind only justified what he thought of them.
