The yellow pony is named Tropical Bubbles, who was born a normal Earth pony but after spending a good amount of time visiting Seaquestria, she decided she preferred the sea life and decided to live out the rest of her life living among the seaponies (kind of like a reverse Little Mermaid)

The other pony is a selkie named Sea Shanty, who is shy about coming onto land in her pony form (hence her apprehensive expression in the first pic), but Tropical Bubbles is one of the few surface dwellers she’s befriended due to bonding over their shared love of the ocean

And yes Sea Shanty’s hair is based off Saoirse’s from Song of the Sea, who’s also a selkie character
