Crikey, that's a heck of a vista beyond the mountain's edge! I have a sudden yen to visit Colorado... though I think 14,000 feet is as high as I've ever been in my life. Brits don't have much opportunity to get much above about 4,000, on Ben Nevis.

It's SO beautiful - when I went up before RMFC everyone but the marmots/pikas were hiding out (ended up sleeting so I don't blame them)!
