
This sketch was not based on any specific sprite. Instead, I tried to construct my own pose based on one of her expressions. The result is . . . mixed. I was going for a pose of her jumping in the air and pumping her arms in celebration, but i didn't account for how the arm pumping would affect her momentum in the air, so it isn't really that clear what's happening in the pic. If I redrew it today, I might have her just standing, with one foot up on a skull or something (one of the candy skulls from the Mariachis: https://raymanpc.com/wiki/script-en.....0/Mariachi.png), but oh well. Maybe next time.
I do want to do more shading practice with frog Barbara. She's simple to draw, but always fun because of how expressive she is. The next batch of pics, I'll try doing poses different from the standard sprites. It'll be more challenging, but should still be simple enough that I can get good shading practice in without it eating up too much time.
