Wow, I'm liking it so far. I guess just making her see through wasn't enough eh? I gotta admitt, though I personally don't see ghost/specters as all that glowy, I honestly think this looks much more interesting. Even to me it still manages to convey an ethereal vibe. Her hand, the edges of her clothing, and the ends of her long hair seem to fade out of detail, like the projection intot he world of the living is only so strong and only capable of so much. It almost looks as though she can't hold herself together, which is creating the extra blue around her, as she tries to keep her form together. The lighting on the water under her is really cool too. It looks like the power of her form is even creating ripple in the water, which makes for a great image, even a mental image from different directions. Man, I can't wait to see what this piece will look like in it's entirety once it's finished.

I have to say i love the background, you did a wonderful job on it. and she seems to fit into it perfectly...

Your backgrounds are entirely incredible. I can't believe the amount of flawless detail in this, and the reflection on the water is so utterly gorgeous. I can't wait to see the finished version, love how ghosty she feels right now.
