I'm not going to push that one too hard. ^_^ The second pic from  LadyChecke is Artimus with some new duds. If it's giving you any vibe like you might perhaps know the source, you might be right. It harkens back to one of Art's core design aspects that's just not shown up that much in the art of her, except maybe http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4026551/ which is her MTG approach to magic. It was a fair thread in her descriptions but more as a underlying theme then specificaly pointed out, so it didn't always make the jump to art.
