Sketched this a few days before the actual holiday, but apparently didn't get around to it until a few days ago. I haven't worked with watercolors since 8th grade, so it was interesting sitting on my butt for a while, making a mess. But, I want to work with them more as the effect is pretty nice. I just need a few smaller brush (like one with one bristle in it) so I can get more details in future works I have planned. I don't like that the scanner emphasizes the paper texture. With the actual piece, the paper does not overwhelm the paint, itself.

This is a rather belated Valentine's gift for my friend, George.

Their noses are red because George has these little stuffed bears over his bed that have them. I just thought the red looked cute with the white.
