My attempt to write a story from the perspective of character removed from my age range. I think I did alright, but I'm not super positive. The main action in the story was inspired by  schindler's idea to have a story of someone finding some stuff in an attic.

I also tried to capture a little bit of loss and nostalgia. Being so young, though, I don't think I can accurately portray them until I've really experienced them. That and someone as close as a spouse dying. I don't think I captured those emotions as true to life as I'd like, either, but...

Well, I hope you enjoy reading this, anyway. I know it's not perfect... I finished writing it only a few minutes ago, and it's 5:30 AM right now. I should really not write things like this at such odd hours...
