This is what I now do in my spare time at work, which I have a lot of. I found some stuff that let's me cross stitch on anything, so I decided to add some flare to my Converse.
This is Kecleon for my purple Converse. I love this guy even though he isn't the most powerful Pokemon. He's quirky though, and a chameleon, and that makes him awesome.
Anyway, this was lots of fun to do and I'm working on doing this for my other pairs of Converse. I may take commissions for this at some point, if I still hold enough interest in doing this after some time.
(It would be like, you send me your canvas shoes and I cross stitch almost any sprite onto them. Not just Pokemon, like from whatever game you want if it fits.)
I've been in a drawing block all summer so I've been doing other crafty things like this and crocheting and sewing.

It depends on the sprite's size and complexity, but they do take a bit of time to do so the starting price would probably be around $50 per shoe. Obviously really simple designs (like the trainer sprite shoes I have) would be a little cheaper and more complex ones would be more. Unfortunately I'm currently closed for commissions because I need to focus on school but in mid-late May and all through the summer I will be open. =) If you are still interested then shoot me a note here.
