The fire pit crackled loudly in the quiet night air, flames illuminating the wooded hideaway, tucked neatly aside from the dried riverbed that ran through the Southern Ash forest.
The young man, Glenn, sat on a tree stump, restlessly kicking his legs as he looked about at the cozy little home his host had made for himself, taking note of all the various telltale signs that this area also served as a bit of a tinker space for the forest dragon, Garjan, who oversaw the entirety of these woods and those who resided in it.
"Gosh this stuff is smooth but it really warms you up!" Glenn commented after taking another swallow from his stein, the moonshine pleasantly burning across his lips and tongue. "I'm more used to wines and stuff, heh heh." Glenn mused, swinging his cup about a bit as he spoke, eyes lidded a bit as the alcohol began to take effect.
Garjan casually drank from his own container, a full cask being closer to his sized. He smiled politely, nodding along with the human as the two sat casually. "It does, but it's unwise in the winter. You'll radiate all your heat away quicker with alcohol." The big dragon mused with a shrug. Glenn could only grin, just giddy to learn and listen, continuing to drink from his mug.
Those drinks caught up to the lad over the hours, Garjan noticed, smirking to himself as he found the human much closer and louder now, inebriated little thing having since tossed his mousey, bashful demeanor to instead stay close to his large draconic host. "You're really so great though... most the forest dragons I've met aren't half as cool and handsome..." the little human mused, having since left behind his mug, belongings, and even his sandals by the stump in lieu of showering Garjan with compliments and attention. The big green didn't mind of course, finding humans eternally amusing, even moreso when they were under the influence, and Glenn was no different, bashful thing still thinking himself subtle with the way he examined the dragon rather closely, human eyes lingering wistfully over certain areas on Garjan's form on multiple occasions.
"Fancy a peek, Glenn?" Garjan eventually asked, interrupting whatever random stream of thought the human happened to be in the middle of. The little male paused a bit, looking a bit dumbstruck as though he didn't quite understand, eyes half lidded as the looked up to meet the teal gaze of the dragon's.
"Peek? I don't know wha..." the human began before Garjan leaned in, giving the little male a mostly-platonic smooch across his forehead (and a bit of his face) with those scaled lips.
"Mmhm. A peek inside. I can tell you're curious. Too shy to ask yourself, but I don't mind. Come take a look, little fella." Garjan chuckled softly, arching his brow down at the lad. Glenn bit his own lip, obviously a bit embarassed that his staring had been so noticed. Liquid courage emboldening the male, Glenn gave the sligtest of nods up at the green, a sign more than decisive enough for the big green to suddenly open his jaws wide, leaning them in low for the human to get a front row view.
Glenn gave a gasp, recoiling a bit in instinct as he was rather abruptly faced with a set of gaping, predatory jaws. No doubt, he figured, this sort of thing was the last view that many humans had experienced before meeting grisly, untimely ends! And yet, Garjan made no advancement, simply staying put and letting Glenn examine as he saw fit. It takes the human a moment, gulping down the swell in his throat before he nervously scooted a bit closer on the ground, moving himself in a better position to gaze into that maw, eyes wide and full of wonder (and no small amount of intoxication) as Glenn scanned about at the dragon's formidable maw.
Garjan just stood himself still as could be, breathing through his nose so as not to deter the little mammal. His plan works, Glenn soon moving closer to examine, and after a few moments, the dragon reached to cup and cradle the human's chin with his tongue, gently switching his breath to exhale through his maw warmly over the lad. Though he couldn't see the little male, Garjan could all but feel the human's body go a bit lax at the treatment. The corners of his maw curled to a smirk as he slowly began to pull his tongue back into his jaws, still ever-so-loosely gripping at the human's chin with the slick muscle. Sure enough, the human began to follow, leaning in further before his small hands could be felt pressing into the dragon's tongue, exploring the spongy surface as the human began to all but crawl into the dragon's open maw.
The dragon, for whatever reason, was hardly surprised by such a turn of events. No, instead Garjan had expected exactly this, familiar with the type of human who gave such specific gazes and gawkings. Carefully, the big green would gather up the back half of the human in a spare forepaw, helping to lift him a bit as the little male continued to climb inwards. Garjan doesn't impede the mammal as he feels Glenn pressing against the entrance to his gullet, giving a lazy guzzle to aid in carefully dragging that human in and beginning to send him on his way.
Glenn wriggled lightly on his way in, barely able to do much else as the dragon's powerful peristaltic pressure pulled and pushed him down deeper and deeper into that bulky green, constant powerful heartbeat only growing stronger around the human as he slipped deeper inside.
Garjan watched as the last of that little human wriggled and writhed outside his jaws, dragon smirking a bit as he pulled in those adorable little feet with his tongue. A simple 'glp' sunk those soles into his throat and the dragon gave a wistful sigh, idly licking over his lips as he rolled to get more comfortable, feeling Glenn forced to curl tightly in his stomach. Garjan smirked down at his middle, giving it some pats as he chuckled softly before giving a big, satisfied belch into the night sky. The dragon grinned, feeling his little paseenger writhe and squirm about idly in that fleshy sac. The big green could only shake his head lightly at the silliness of it all before he let his eyes drift closed. A nap certainly seemed in order.
Yet another comic piece I managed to snag from the ever-amazing and wonderful to work with
prince-of-shame who has a gallery you should already be following if you're into fun vorish stuffs and a super fun cartoony style.
I don't think I'll ever get sick of the way Prin does expressions, honestly, and I just adore how this comic came out. I felt bad that I didn't have anything resembling a worthwile reference for Garjan's living space but Prin still managed to knock it out of the park.
I've been meaning to show Glenn and Garjan together for a bit now but nothing has really worked out until recently. Figured if I could get a slot from
prince-of-shame then I'd know exactly what comic idea to get. And so here we are, and I absolutely adore this piece, haha.

Ahaha I think Glenn just has a tendency to hang with dragons and that ends up being a perilous endeavor more than not!
You're right about Gar being too sweet to not let him go!
I don't tend to think of any of the vorish artwork I get as canon (aside from some Cain stuff) so it's good to just assume most of the poor shenanigans Glenn finds himself in are more "What-if?" situations!
Glad you dig it, Prin always does amazing work.
