Sometimes when you're at your lowest, most weakened state you come to realize...all the strength you need is within.
For those who didn't know -- that big burly Akita in the background is Donovan...and Donovan and myself are very literally one and the same(because everyone needs an opposite gender char now and again). If you look hard enough, he's kinda....Badgery in markings...it's intentional, 110%
Over the first half of this year I was battered and beaten and bloodied by so many things....and never realized the 'ties that bind' were long broken links in what I thought was the chains holding me down.
Look out world, the chained beast will always remember the time it was beholden to you...
(Cathartic artwork -- nothing in the world is wrong despite the gauntlet I'm running at work; hell lol, even my lovelife has me a DEEPLY smitten kitten. Just REALLY needed to have a vent piece created...and this is what came to mind a few months back. I LOVE it!!)

yep -- the original commission I'd hired Amon for was supposed to have been VERY different...was going to have been announcements for Nox's arrival here(and other super-romantic things that went along with it)...so when things ended with him I had to ask Amon to start on another piece, even though he'd started on coloring.
The broken heart was ALL AMON's doing and I love the concept!! I'd never had a saddened/angry/hurt/etc piece done so this was a HUGELY cathartic picture to have made(and yes I like that word lol)
