This piece was inspired by two moments from the Beatles' 'Magical Mystery Tour' - the unsuccessful TV movie that is, not the album.
First, the moment when all the oddball British tourists somehow disappear inside a tiny circus tent.
And second, the moment when the midget photographer covers his head with the cloth, snaps a picture... and emerges with a lion's head. It's a moment of playful surrealism that really tickles my fancy.
